Terms and Conditions

1. Event Participation:

1.1. Eligibility: Participating as a Contestant in the Event is a privilege. Participation in the Event is open to the Contestants who meet the specified age and eligibility criteria as notified by the Organizer from time to time and including:

(a) The Contestant has completed at least 54 years of age

(b) The Contestant is healthy and in a fit state to participate in the Event

(c) The Contestant is a citizen of India

(d) The Contestant has registered herself as a participant on the Organizer’s website (www.peachevent.com) and paid the participation fees 

1.2. The Organizer shall shortlist the Contestants for the Audition stage and intimate them about the same. Only those qualified Contestants shall be eligible participate in the Auditions. The Auditions shall be held at such place and time as shall be notified by the Organizers.

1.3. After the Audition stage, the Organizer shall shortlist the Contestants that qualify for the final Event and intimate the shortlisted contestants about the same. Only those shortlisted Contestants shall be eligible to participate in the final Event which shall be shall be held at such place and time as shall be notified by the Organizers.

1.3. Code of Conduct: All Contestants must adhere to a high standard of conduct, respect and professionalism throughout the Event. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate expulsion at the sole discretion of the Organizer and the Contestant shall not dispute such decision. 

1.4. Disqualification: The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Contestant who violates the Terms or engages in unethical or unlawful conduct. The disqualification of the Contestant shall be done without any prior notice and at the sole discretion of the Organizer and the Contestant shall not dispute such decision.

1.5. By participating in the Event, the Contestant agrees that she is not under contract with any person, firm or corporation nor have made any legal obligations that would prevent her appearance or participation at the Event.

 

2. Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Release:

2.1 The Contestant Acknowledges and agrees that participation in the Event is purely voluntary. As such, Contestant agrees to assume all risks involved with his or her participation in the Event. In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Event and the enrichment that the Contestant will derive from participation in the Event, Contestant does hereby, for herself, her heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns, waive, release, covenant not to sue and forever discharge the Organizer and their members, agents, servants and employees of and from any and all manner of action of actions, causes or causes of action, including, but not limited to negligence, suits, debts, accounts, damages, claims and demands of any kind whatsoever which the Contestant have or may acquire by reason of injury, damage or harm to person while participating in the Event. Further, Contestant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and their members, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action arising out of Contestant’s own actions while participating in the Event.

 

3. Copyright and Intellectual Property:

3.1. Event Content: All content generated from the date of participation in the Event i.e. the date of Contestant’s registration for the Event until the final Event is held, including but not limited to photographs, videos, audio recordings, and written materials, that may be submitted by the Contestant for the purposes of the event or that may be created by the Organizer for the Event shall be the Intellectual Property of the Organizers and the ownership of all the intellectual property rights therein including the copyrights of all the works contained therein shall belong to and vest in the Organizer.

3.2. Usage Rights: The Organizer shall be entitled to utilize, incorporate in any other work, record, distribute, broadcast, telecast, disseminate or otherwise publish or in any other way communicate the Event Content to any person whatsoever on any platform or in any manner whatsoever for any purpose whatsoever. The Contestant shall not be entitled to any royalty or other consideration for the same.

 

4. Audition Rules:

4.1. Audition Process: Contestants must attend auditions as per the schedule provided by the organizers. The auditions may involve interviews, talent presentations, and other evaluation criteria as determined by the judges.

4.2. Judging Criteria: The judging panel will assess contestants based on predetermined criteria, which may include talent, personality and poise. The judges’ decisions are final and not subject to dispute or appeal at the Contestant’s instance.

4.3. Audition Expenses: The Contestant are responsible for their own audition-related expenses, including travel, accommodation, and any associated costs. The organizers will not provide financial assistance for auditions.

4.4. Audition Materials: The Contestant must bring all necessary materials for their audition, such as costumes, makeup, accessories, and any pre-recorded audio or video etc. Technical requirements and guidelines will be provided in advance.

 

5. Expenses and Fees:

5.1. Registration Fees: The Contestant must pay the specified registration fees as outlined by the organizers. The Contestant that qualify for participating in the final Event shall be required to pay further fees as outlined by the Organizer and participation for the final Event shall be subject to the same. These fees or other amounts paid are non-refundable, except in cases where the Event is canceled by the organizers.

5.2. Travel and Accommodation: Contestants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses to attend the Event. The organizers will not cover these costs unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement or declared by an organizer.

5.3. Prizes and Awards: Any prizes or awards offered as part of the Event will be distributed as specified in the official rules and guidelines. Taxes, if applicable, on prizes are the sole responsibility of the recipients.

5.4. Event-Related Expenses: Contestants may incur additional expenses related to participation in the Event, such as costumes, makeup, and accessories. These expenses are the responsibility of the contestants.

 

6. Health and Well-being:

6.1. Health Declarations: Contestants, including contestants, volunteers, and staff, must submit a health declaration form, disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or other health-related concerns that may affect their participation in the Event. If no such declaration is submitted, the Organizer shall presume that no such concerns exist and they shall not be liable for anything suffered or caused to the Contestant as a result of such concerns.

6.2. Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency during the Event, the Organizers will make their best endeavor in providing necessary assistance and contact emergency services, if required. However, the Contestant are responsible for their medical expenses and insurance coverage.

 

7. Tickets and Refunds:

7.1. Ticket Sales: All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless the Event is canceled by the organizers.

7.2. Event Changes: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Event schedule, lineup, or venue or any other matter relating to the Event, without prior notice. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to inform Contestants in advance.

 

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Mumbai, India. Any disputes arising from or in relation to these Terms or the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai jurisdiction.

9. Amendments:
   The organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms at their discretion without prior notice.
   
   
10. Contract:
    10.1. I will observe the rules and regulations beginning with the official check-in at the Host Hotel acting as headquarters for the Mr. & Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant India events through my departure from the hotel following the Finals / Crowning of the Pageant.
    10.2. I will not participate in an interview, photo session, or engage in any press contacts or publicity OF ANY KIND during / after the pageant events unless a member of the pageant staff is present, and I receive prior approval from Mr. & Ms. Senior India staff.
    10.3. I will not attend any function or make public appearances other than at regularly scheduled events during / after the competition week. “Free time” is defined as time on my own. I understand that I may not participate in an interview, or photo session, have press contacts, or have publicity of any kind (free time or otherwise) Unless a member of the pageant staff is present, and I receive prior permission from Mr. & Ms. Senior India staff.
    10.4. I, together with my family, friends, and/or representatives will not to be in the company of, or approach, a pageant Judge before, during, or after the competition. It is not appropriate or acceptable for a Delegate, family, or friends to question the Judges for their opinions or comments.
    10.5. I will not invite anyone backstage or on stage following the pageant, at any time except as announced by the Executive Director or Pageant staff.
    10.6. I will advise family, friends, and/or representatives that they are not to come on stage at the conclusion of the Pageant until the Pageant staff has announced their approval. The Pageant photographer and videographer need to take many official pictures of the winners and the court, and each Delegate’s cooperation is asked for
    and expected. Any problem, concern, or complaint will immediately be referred to the pageant staff,
    10.7. I will maintain a punctual time schedule for all phases of the competition, including rehearsals, to run smoothly. I will co-operate fully with the Pageant staff and be on time for all the events as outlined in the time schedule.
    10.8. Should I win the Mr. & Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant India title for my division, I will attend at least twelve not-for-profit appearances during my reign, inform the Executive Director of such appearances, and forward photos of the event, including location, names in photo titles(s), and position.
    10.9. I will not compete in any local, preliminary, state, or national pageant if I hold a Mr. & Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant India title.
    10.10. Delegates are required to possess general computer skills to access/submit paperwork and communicate with MR. & MS. SFPI staff. Delegates should have access to a laptop or desktop computer and access to social media (Facebook). Many documents are not fully accessible over a smartphone and therefore a computer
    is required to fully read and access pageant documents.
    All paperwork for the pageant will be submitted online through the Pageant Portal. Submissions sent in any other form may not be accepted.
    10.11. All state delegates are expected to attend and be on time for all pageant events. Delegates who are late may not be allowed to participate in the activity or that piece of competition, which would ultimately give that person a zero for that portion of the pageant unless there is an emergency or a director – approved excuse.
    10.12. Delegates are required to participate in media interviews, photoshoots, and promotional activities related to the Event.
    10.13. If you are awarded the winner’s title, you will not be eligible to participate in any other pageants for the next two years. During this period, you may only participate in non-profit events or organizations to represent the Peach event. Participation in any profit-based ventures will require prior written approval from the staff of Mr. & Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant India.
    10.14. If you are awarded the runner up title, you will not be eligible to participate in any other pageants for the next twelve months. During this time, you may only take part in non-profit events or organizations while representing the Peach event. Participation in any profit-based ventures will require prior written approval from the staff of Mr. & Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant India.
    10.15. The winner is required to attend the next edition of the pageant as part of their official duties.
11. Miscellaneous:

11.1. Media and Interviews: Contestants may be required to participate in media interviews, photoshoots, and promotional activities related to the Event. By participating, they consent to these activities.

11.2. Disqualification: The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any Contestant who violates the Event’s rules and guidelines or engages in behavior deemed detrimental to the Event’s reputation. This shall be at the Organizer’s sole discretion, without prior notice and shall not be subject to any dispute by the Contestant and the Contestant shall be bound by the said decisions.

11.3. Force Majeure: The organizers shall not be held liable for any delays, cancellations, or modifications to the Event due to unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events beyond their control.

11.4. Entire Agreement: These Terms, in conjunction with the guidelines or directives or instructions issued by the Organizer hereafter shall constitute the entire agreement between Organizer ad the Contestant, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.

 

By participating in the Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant Event Show in Mumbai, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms aim to ensure a safe, respectful and legally compliant environment for all stakeholders involved in the Event.

Contestants are strongly advised to carefully review and understand these additional terms and conditions before participating in the Ms. Senior Fashion Pageant Event Show by PEACH EVENT. Compliance with these rules ensures a fair and orderly audition process, promotes the well-being of all Contestants, and clarifies financial responsibilities. Should Contestants have any questions or concerns, they are encouraged to seek clarification from the organizers before proceeding.
